Founded in 1978 Customs Agents Wellington (CAWL) is a privately owned and operated business and we specialise in dealing with like minded businesses. When you work with us you’re working with the owners of the business – so you’re not treated like a number!
In Wellington our Head Office is centrally located in the CBD at 41/47 Dixon Street. The Auckland office is on the North Shore where we trade as Albany Customs and Freight under Jeff Dixons management (09 476 6855 / jeff@albanycustoms.com).

We are part of the Universal Freight Organisation, which means we have a large international freight forwarding network with different agents throughout the world that we work very closely with. Our efficient processes make it easy to import and export your goods anywhere in the world.
This independence also enables us to cherry pick from each agent, depending on the service and rates on offer, in order to find the most effective solution for you.
During our 32 years our company have used our experience to DEFEND cases against rulings by NZ CUSTOMS in both the High Court and Appeals Tribunal. One victory is a landmark decision in Comptroller of Customs v Customs Agents (Wellington) Ltd [1994] 2 NZLR 759 which is testimony to our skills and high level of expertise.
